Saturday’s Derby della Madonnina between Inter and AC Milan will see Achraf Hakimi and Theo Hernandez come up against one another, a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport highlights.

The two players came through the ranks at Real Madrid but Los Blancos decided to offload the pair of them for €45 million, including add-ons, and €20 million respectively.

The reigning Spanish champions now find themselves in a crisis situation at full back, due to injuries to Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola, a crisis that they could have avoided had they decided to keep Hakimi and Hernandez, who will now compete against one another at San Siro on Saturday evening, around.

Since joining Inter in the Summer transfer window, Hakimi has made three appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park the Moroccan national team player has massively impressed with him scoring one goal and tallying two assists.
