Inter manager Antonio Conte’s team for this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan has pretty much picked itself according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The former Italian national team boss has found his selection choices limited as a result of six Inter players currently being COVID-19 positive.
Alessandro Bastoni, Roberto Gagliardini, Milan Skriniar, Radja Nainggolan, Ionut Andrei Radu and Ashley Young are all positive for COVID-19 and will miss out although some reports have suggested there is a chance that Bastoni could make it on the bench if he returns a negative test result when next tested.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Inter will therefore line-up in the following way against their Rossoneri rivals.
Inter probable starting line-up (3-5-2); Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Aleksandar Kolarov; Achraf Hakimi, Marcelo Brozovic, Arturo Vidal, Nicolo Barella, Ivan Perisic; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
