AC Milan attacker Ante Rebic’s condition will be assessed today ahead of this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina with Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.



The Croatian national team player has missed AC Milan’s past few matches due to dislocating his left elbow and following today’s assessment it will be decided whether to wait for him to fully recover or if they will force his return and try to have him available off of the bench.

Rebic’s injury has prevented him from training alongisde his Rossoneri teammates as of late and he certainly faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s clash with the Nerazzurri.

The report from the Rome based news outlet concludes that AC Milan would like to calculate all of the risks before giving the green light to the player to return.

This season Rebic has made two appearances, in which he has provided a single assist.
