Only seven players trained with Inter this afternoon according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
Samir Handanovic, Daniele Padelli, Andrea Ranocchia, Matteo Darmian, Marcelo Brozovic, Andrea Pinamonti and Achraf Hakimi all trained at the Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti today and the remainder of Inter’s players will be back in training from tomorrow.
All of the international players who returned to Milan today were subjected to a swab test for COVID-19 thus meaning Inter manager Antonio Conte will only be able to hold one group training session ahead of the Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan, which will take place on Saturday evening.
Inter currently have six players who are COVID-19 positive in Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, Radja Nainggolan, Ionut Andrei Radu, Roberto Gagliardini and Ashley Young. Many reports have stated that Bastoni could make it onto the bench for the derby.
