Inter boss Antonio Conte will have a regenerated Christian Eriksen back in his ranks thanks to the attacking midfielder’s recent performances whilst on international duty with Denmark according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Eriksen scored goals against Faroe Islands, Iceland and England, over the course of the international break.

Thanks to these performances, the report from the Milan based news outlet explains that not only can Eriksen be useful to Conte but he could also recover the status that he had prior to his move to Inter in the most recent January transfer window.

Since joining Inter, Eriksen has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists for his Inter teammates.

This season the former Ajax player, who is contracted to the club until 2024, has made two appearances this season but has not made any goal contributions.
