Ivan Perisic sustained a blow to his knee in Croatia’s 2-1 UEFA Nations League loss to reigning world champions France according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.

The wing-back’s condition will have to be assessed prior to this coming weekend’s Derby della Madonnina between Inter and AC Milan, which Inter boss Antonio Conte has a selection doubt for.

The report goes on to explain that Conte’s selection doubt concerns who to start between Christian Eriksen and Marcelo Brozovic against the Rossoneri club.

Eriksen has played in two of Inter’s three games to date, one of which as a starter, whilst Brozovic has made three appearances but also only started one game thus far this campaign. Both players starts actually came in the same game, the opening game of the season against Fiorentina, which Inter won 4-3.

Neither Eriksen nor Brozovic have managed to make any goal contributions during their respective time on the field.
