The three biggest Italian daily sports newspapers have analysed the performances of Inter trio Danilo D’Ambrosio, Nicolo Barella, and Stefan de Vrij in last night’s match between their respective national teams.

D’Ambrosio and Barella’s Italy played host to de Vrij’s Netherlands at Atalanta’s Gewiss Stadium in UEFA Nations League action last night and the two sides played out a 1-1 draw with the goals coming from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Donny van de Beek.

Gazzetta dello Sport have given D’Ambrosio, Barella and de Vrij’s performances ratings of 5.5, 6.5 and 5.5 respectively. Corriere dello Sport have meanwhile given them ratings of 6, 6.5 and 6. Tuttosport handed D’Ambrosio a rating of 6.5, Barella a rating of 8.5 and de Vrij a rating of 6.

In short, Barella was the best performing Inter player in last night’s match with the Italian media giving him a combined score of 21.5 whilst D’Ambrosio has a combined score of 18 and de Vrij’s combined score was just 17.5.
