Roberto Gagliardini and Radja Nainggolan could be back available for Inter’s Champions League group stage opener next week according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Both Gagliardini and Nainggolan recently tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss tomorrow’s Derby della Madonnina against Inter but could return to the squad as soon as Wednesday, when Inter will play host to German club Borussia Monchengladbach at San Siro.

In order for them to be able to return, they will both have to return negative results for COVID-19 when the squad are next tested on Sunday.

The report goes on to state that Inter central defender Milan Skriniar, who also currently has COVID-19 will not be able to return to Italy before Tuesday.

Skriniar is currently in quarantine in his native Slovakia and cannot do what Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo did by returning from Portugal due to the differing rules in place in the two countries.
