Romelu Lukaku is one of the top 10 best out and out strikers on the planet right now according to British produced monthly football magazine FourFourTwo.
The Inter striker has been absolutely prolific since his arrival at Inter in a club record €65 million transfer deal from Premier League club Manchester United in the Summer of 2019.
The all-time record goal scorer for the Belgian national team has made 54 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri club, in which he has scored a grand total of 37 goals and he ranks fourth overall in FourFourTwo’s list.
During his time with the club he has struck up a formidable partnership with Lautaro Martinez and has started this season well with three goals in as many games.
“It’s sad that we don’t get to see Romelu Lukaku in the Premier League anymore. He’s always had a natural finishing ability and strength rare in young players – typified by the fact he’s the fast overseas player to reach 100 goals in English football,” FourFourTwo have stated.
“Lukaku is a student of the game too though, highly intelligent and keen to improve as an individual. As the outlet in Antonio Conte’s clockwork Inter Milan machine, he’s been in fine form over the last year, proving himself to be one of the most reliable frontmen in Europe. He’s Belgium’s top scorer, cost clubs around £180m and he’s still only 27. He’ll only get better.”
The top 10 in full is as follows:
10. Jamie Vardy – Leicester City
9. Luis Suarez – Atletico Madrid
8. Raul Jimenez – Wolverhampton Wanderers
7. Karim Benzema – Real Madrid
6. Erling Braut Haaland – Borussia Dortmund
5. Sergio Aguero – Manchester City
4. Romelu Lukaku – Inter
3. Cristiano Ronaldo – Juventus
2. Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur
1, Robert Lewandowski – Bayern Munich
