The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach did not raise any complaints in his pre-match press conference yesterday, instead relaying a positive message.
Conte invited the team to face all the difficulties together, imploring the squad to move forward and not stop, as it could be disastrous for everyone involved.
The Milanese club have suffered multiple positive cases of Covid-19, but the game is still set to go ahead this evening, behind closed doors.
Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni recently tested negative for the contagion. Although he will not be available for this evening’s game, he may be able to return for next week’s Champions League opener against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Inter won the last derby against the Rossoneri 4-2 back in February.
