Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will meet soon with his entourage to discuss a contract renewal with the Nerazzurri, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the 23-year-old Argentine striker, who is currently contracted to the Milanese club until 2023, is set to be the protagonist in tonight’s derby against AC Milan.
The player has scored three goals in consecutive games so far this season and will be looking to add to that tally against the Rossoneri this evening in the San Siro.
Lautaro will meet his entourage soon to discuss renewing his contract with the Nerazzurri, which would see his wages rise from €3 million net per season to €5 million net.
The player was keenly wanted by Catalan giants Barcelona this year but the Blaugrana failed to pay his €111 million release clause back in July, allowing Antonio Conte’s team to keep ahold of the 23-year-old.
