Inter have taken to social media platform Instagram to recall legendary striker Ronaldo’s hat trick in a match against Piacenza 23 years ago.

The Balon d’Or winning striker starred in the match against Piacenza during the 1997/98 season, which was his first season with the club following a then world record transfer from Barcelona.

During his spell with Inter, which was full of injuries, Ronaldo made 98 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 59 goals and provided 11 assists for his teammates.
