Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is emblematic of this Inter squad, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Belgian forward is built to run all game and try to crush his opponents, typical of this Inter team under coach Antonio Conte.

The former Manchester United striker scored the Nerazzurri’s only goal in the 2-1 derby defeat yesterday to AC Milan, but despite a strong performance, still wasted a few chances.

The player did not give up and played to his fullest until the final whistle, showing how he is a strong leader for the 51-year-old Italian coach on the pitch.

Lukaku was also unlucky not to be awarded the penalty in the second half, as Simon Kjaer’s touch in the old rules would have played the Belgian onside, but the new rules do not.

The 27-year-old has scored four goals in four games this season.
