Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric discussed Eddie Salcedo and Federico Dimarco, two Inter players on loan with the Gialloblu, when speaking to gathered reporters at a press conference earlier today. His words were noted by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

“Who will play in attack? Di Carmine has recovered, even if he is not at the top. Most likely Favilli will play and Ilic is still very young, I see him as an attacking midfielder, he is growing physically.

“Nice to work with him, he’s very interesting. The solutions are those, either Salcedo, or someone else.”

He discussed whether he has considered the possibility of moving either Federico Dimarco or Davide Faraoni further down the pitch.

“Yes, these are the options. Either we start with the three I said before, knowing that they are not at their maximum, or we pull back one of these two.”

Finally, Juric spoke about the possibility of Serie A introducing an NBA style bubble, to protect the players from Covid-19.

“We are in a very difficult economic situation. If football stops for many clubs, it’s the end, because there is no income.

“We must do everything we can to keep football going until a solution is found at a health level. Even if this means going into a bubble.”

19-year-old Italian striker Eddie Salcedo, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has returned to the Gialloblu on loan again, after spending last season in Verona with the club.

He has joined on loan with a buy option attached, although the Milanese club also included a buy-back option.

Last season he scored one goal in 17 appearances for the Veneto based club.

22-year-old Italian left back Federico Dimarco has also joined Hellas Verona on loan with a buy option attached.
