Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan has officially tested negative for Covid-19, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 32-year-old Belgian midfielder announced on his Instagram story yesterday that he had tested negative for the contagion, which had forced him to miss the Nerazzurri’s derby clash with AC Milan.

21-year-old Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni also announced that he had tested negative for the contagion, meaning that both players will now be available for Inter’s Champions League opener against German side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has still tested positive, the report continues, and so will miss the game. Later today, backup keeper Ionut Radu will undergo another test, to see if he is still infected with the virus.

English full back Ashley Young will undergo the same procedures tomorrow. The Milanese club are hoping to have a full-strength squad soon.
