Italian journalist Giovanni Capuano criticised Inter coach Antonio Conte and his decisions in the 2-1 derby loss to AC Milan in a post on his Twitter page yesterday.

The Nerazzurri started the derby well against the Rossoneri, before Swedish veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic found the back of the net twice in less than five minutes.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku managed to claw one back before half time, before Inter failed to find an equaliser, despite many chances.

The Milanese club will now have to look forward to their next game against German side Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League on Wednesday this week, with their next league game against Genoa on Saturday.

The Nerazzurri were missing six players who had tested positive for Covid-19, including starting defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar.

As such, former Roma full back Aleksandar Kolarov played as a central defender against AC Milan and did not impress.

Capuano discussed Conte and his decisions in a Tweet, saying: “Conte also lost it, who never changes even when faced with evidence. For example, that Kolarov’s playing in central defense is not feasible at the moment.”
