Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti discussed Inter’s 2-1 derby defeat to rivals AC Milan in an editorial in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

“The answers have begun to arrive. The first one is that AC Milan are for now rightly the best, the only team with a champion in all their games who always manages to be decisive.

“The derby was a game between him and Lukaku, another impressive player.”

He spoke about how the two impressed in the first half.

“As two they translated the good ideas of the teams that had an almost exceptional first half. The attacks dominated the defenses.”

The Italian journalist highlighted Inter’s defensive issues and how they have an exciting attack at the cost of the defense.

“However, Inter slipped more, they were poor. Hakimi and Perisic together make it fascinating but dangerous as well.

“It is no coincidence that all Inter’s defenses are always improper, they always concede goals.”

Finally, Sconcerti commented on how another issue for the Milanese club may be their midfield department, which did not impress against the Rossoneri yesterday.

“The impression is that a midfield with three players who are too different like Vidal, Brozovic and Barella have difficulty forming the department.”

Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan are now at the top of the league table, after winning their first four games. Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta are now in second, after suffering a painful defeat to Napoli yesterday.

The Nerazzurri are lagging behind in sixth, and will be hoping to bounce back with a win against Genoa next Saturday.

Before then, Antonio Conte’s squad will play Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach in their Champions League opener.
