Wanda Nara, wife and agent of former Inter striker Mauro Icardi, commented on the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 derby loss to rivals AC Milan in a post on her Instagram story yesterday, as reported by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

The report details how the Argentine model posted a photo of herself hugging her husband after a derby win alongside the caption: “Without love there is no derby. Congratulations to my friends at AC Milan.”

Icardi, who joined French giants Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent deal earlier this year, was previously a strong force in the Milanese derby for the Nerazzurri.

The 27-year-old Argentine striker scored five goals in 12 derby appearances against the Rossoneri.

He left the club in dramatic fashion last year, before sent to PSG on loan on transfer deadline day, after a complete relationship breakdown with Inter’s management.

Icardi made 34 appearances across all competitions for PSG last season, for a total of 2185 minutes. In that time, he scored 20 goals and provided four assists.
