Alessandro Bastoni and Radja Nainggolan have both recovered from COVID-19 and are back at the disposal of Inter manager Antonio Conte for this coming Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League opener according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Bastoni and Nainggolan are two of six Inter players who have tested positive for COVID-19 but the Italian defender and Belgian midfielder have recovered and will be available for selection for the match against Borussia Monchengladbach at San Siro.

The duo trained on an individual basis at training yesterday and between today and tomorrow they will undertake the necessary tests which will allow them to resume activity.

Roberto Gagliardini and Ionut Andrei Radu will both be subjected to another COVID-19 test today to see if they are still COVID-19 positive or not. Ashley Young will meanwhile be tested tomorrow.

The report from the Rome based news outlet also points out that in addition to Bastoni and Nainggolan, Conte will also have Stefano Sensi back available after he missed the Milan derby due to suspension.
