Italian football journalist Fabio Caressa has shared his belief that there has never been a great amount of feeling between Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen and manager Antonio Conte.

Eriksen joined Inter in the most recent January transfer window in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

The 28-year-old Danish national team player has struggled for regular game time and has left a lot to be desired with his performances when on the park, which have more often than not come as a substitute.

Eriksen has done little on his time on the field to warrant more regular game time or game time as a starter and recently made his feelings known about his situation and insisted that he does not plan to sit on the bench all the time.

“There’s never been a great feeling between Conte and Eriksen,” Caressa explained in a recent interview, as quoted by Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

“The thing that has changed the most at Inter is communication, Conte has changed the way of communicating.”

The former Ajax player, who recently made his 100th appearance for the Danish national team, has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date for Inter. In his time on the park, he has scored four goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
