Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio and club vice president Javier Zanetti were all present at the club’s training ground yesterday according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The trio were present at the Suning training centre and together with Antonio Conte they all began looking for solutions to things that have not went well for Inter at this early stage of the 2020/21 season.
Compared to last season when Inter had 12 points from 12 after four games, Inter have just seven points to their name and compared to having conceded just once at this stage last term, Conte’s side have conceded eight goals across their four games so far.
Inter are currently sitting in sixth place in the Serie A standings and are trailing league leaders and city rivals AC Milan in the table by no less than five points.
