Borussia Monchengladbach loanee Valentino Lazaro will not be available to face parent club Inter in tomorrow’s Champions League group stage opener according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Lazaro has been sidelined by injury as of late and is one of three players practically certain of missing out on the clash at San Siro with the other two players being Denis Zakaria and Laszlo Benes.

Andreas Poulsen, Julio Villalba and Mamadou Doucoure could all meanwhile make a return to action against the Nerazzurri club.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Marco Rose could deploy his side in a 4-2-3-1 system, a system that they have used regularly early on in the 2020/21 season.

Borussia Monchengladbach probable line-up (4-2-3-1); Yann Sommer; Stefan Lainer, Matthias Ginter, Nico Elvedi, Ramy Bensebaini; Christoph Kramer, Florian Neuhaus; Jonas Hofmann, Lars Stindl, Marcus Thuram; Alassane Plea.
