Stefano Sensi or Christian Eriksen will be deployed in the attacking midfield role for Inter in tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage opener at home to Borussia Monchengladbach according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter manager Antonio Conte has practically decided the team that he will field against the Bundesliga club at San Siro and there is a play-off between Sensi and Eriksen for the start at attacking midfield. It is unclear who, if either player, is currently ahead.

The report from the broadcaster goes on to add Marcelo Brozovic is slightly tired and therefore Inter’s holding midfielders for the clash will be Arturo Vidal and Nicolo Barella who will have one of Sensi or Eriksen ahead of them.

Sky Sport Italia state that Aleksandar Kolarov is also likely to maintain his place in the starting line-up despite his recent poor performances on the park.
