Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini and back-up goalkeeper Ionut Andrei Radu are both still positive for COVID-19 according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
Ashley Young and Milan Skriniar, the latter of whom is currently quarantining in his native Slovakia, have both taken another COVID-19 test, the results of which are awaited.
The report from the broadcaster goes on to state that Alessandro Bastoni and Radja Nainggolan have meanwhile both recovered from COVID-19.
Both the Italian defender and Belgian midfielder have trained alongside the rest of the group ahead of tomorrow night’s Champions League group stage opener at home to Borussia Monchengladbach.
Inter are in Champions League group B alongside Borussia Monchengladbach, Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk. After tomorrow’s match, they then take on Shakhtar Donetsk before a double header against Real Madrid. They then play Borussia Monchengladbach on match day five and then conclude the group stage against Shakhtar Donetsk.
