Inter have clear ideas when it comes to the future of Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The highly rated 23-year-old drew extremely strong links over a potential move to Barcelona during the recent January transfer window but a move never materialised in the end.

Inter want to sign Lautaro to a new and improved contract and if possible, they want to remove the €111 million release clause that is present in his current contract.

Lautaro is currently under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season and multiple reports have already began to speculate about the salary that the player could be handed as part of a new deal.

The Argentine national team player joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Superliga Argentina side Racing Club. He has since made 88 appearances across all competitions for Inter, in which he has scored 33 goals and provided nine assists.
