Inter were the first team in close to a year to not concede a single shot during the first half in the Champions League, sports data and analytics company Opta have highlighted.

Inter managed to stop Borussia Monchengladbach from having any shots at all during the first half of Wednesday evening’s Champions League group stage opener in the first 45 minutes.

Inter were unable to repeat this feat in the second half though and had to settle for a 2-2 draw in the end.
