Romelu Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello has shared his belief that his client is currently the best striker on the planet.
Lukaku has started his second season with Inter in prolific fashion with him having notched six goals in his first five appearances of the campaign.
The 27-year-old Belgian national team player joined Inter in a club record €65 million transfer deal from Manchester United in the Summer of 2019 and has scored goals for fun whilst representing the Nerazzurri club.
The former Chelsea and Everton player, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2023/24 season, has scored a sensational 40 goals in 56 outings across all competitions for Inter and has also provided a total of six assists for his teammates along the way.
“His transfer to Italy was the right decision and the best choice for him. Inter are a great family and the fans are completely crazy about him,” he explained in an interview with British broadcaster Sky Sports, which was broadcast a short time ago.
Pastorello then went on to discuss what he feels his client needs in order to perform to the best of his ability.
“Romelu is a modern player and a sensitive person. He needs love, when he feels everyone’s affection he really becomes the best the market can offer, even if Inter obviously do not intend to sell him.
“In terms of quality, attitude and mentality, he is currently the best striker in the world.”
