Inter central defender Alessandro Bastoni will make a return to the starting line-up for Inter’s match away to Genoa tomorrow according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Inter central defender missed the Nerazzurri’s last game due to COVID-19 but came off the bench in the mid-week draw with Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League group stage. Now he is to make a return to the starting 11.

He will replace Aleksandar Kolarov, who has been far from convincing since joining Inter, and will play alongside Stefan de Vrij and Danilo D’Ambrosio in the three man defence.

The report from the broadcaster goes on to explain that Arturo Vidal, Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic are favourites to start in the midfield over Christian Eriksen and Stefano Sensi, who will start on the bench at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Inter’s strike force will be Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
