Christian Eriksen is to be handed a second consecutive start for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Serie A match away to Genoa according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder is currently favoured to start over Marcelo Brozovic in the attacking midfield role in Inter manager Antonio Conte’s 3-4-1-2 system.

Alessandro Bastoni will meanwhile come into the line-up in place of Aleksandar Kolarov at left centre back and will play in the defence alongside Stefan de Vrij and Danilo D’Ambrosio although Andrea Ranocchia playing as part of the defence is a possibility.

Matteo Darmian will retain his place in the team at right wing-back, and that will be the case even if Achraf Hakimi returns a negative test result for COVID-19 tomorrow.

Probable Inter starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Matteo Darmian, Nicolo Barella, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Perisic; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
