Italian football journalist and Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to give his review of Inter’s Champions League group stage opener against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday night.

Inter went into the match against the Bundesliga club as big favourites but only managed to come away from the match with a single point as they drew 2-2, thanks to a very late equaliser from Romelu Lukaku, who scored his second goal of the game.

He posted: “Everything always goes wrong at Inter. They took little risk, then conceded two goals from as many mistakes from Vidal and in general seemed too staid.

“Conte was wrong to exclude Lautaro in the first half. Lukaku was immense and Darmian was excellent. Eriksen only plays on the tip of his toes. Barella not good enough.”
