Italian football journalist and Inter fan Fabrizio Biasin has taken to social media platform Twitter to voice his views on the ratings Christian Eriksen received for his performance against Borussia Monchengladbach by several Italian media outlets.
The Danish national team attacking midfielder was granted a rare opportunity to start for Inter but once again left a lot to be desired with his performance.
Since joining the club Eriksen has made 30 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
Biasin posted: “If one gives 5 to Eriksen in Inter vs Borussia they make a precise choice: “I don’t evaluate the performance, but the potential of the player with respect to the game.”
“By the same principle Darmian would have deserved 10. However, these are called ‘match ratings’ not ‘throw things in chaos.'”
