Inter Striker Alexis Sanchez To Miss Tomorrow’s Match Vs Genoa Due To Injury Italian Media Report

Alexis Sanchez will miss Inter’s Serie A match away to Genoa tomorrow as a result of injury according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team player was forced off at half time of Inter’s Champions League group stage opener versus Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday night at San Siro due to an injury to his right adductor and this report explains that his condition will be examined today.

Sanchez will be unavailable to Inter manager Antonio Conte for the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris but Conte could possibly have Stefano Sensi back at his disposal to take on the Rossoblu club.

Sensi missed Inter’s match with Borussia Monchengladbach as a precaution and in all likelihood he should be named among the substitutes against Rolando Maran’s side.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Conte will field nine of the 11 players who started against Gladbach. Alessandro Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic will come in and replace Aleksandar Kolarov and Christian Eriksen.
