Inter could keep a close eye on Nicolo Rovella in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash away to Genoa according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The highly rated Italian youth national team central midfielder has been admired by Conte dating back to his time in charge of Premier League club Chelsea and Conte’s admiration for Rovella has not ceased to exist in the time since.

Upon his arrival at Inter, Conte is said to have pointed out Rovella to the Nerazzurri management and tomorrow evening Rovella could line-up against Conte’s Inter for the third time in less than a year.

The report explains that Rovella could be specially watched by Inter in the match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris which will pit 11th placed Genoa up against sixth placed Inter.

This season the 18-year-old has appeared in just one of Genoa’s three games to date with that appearance coming in their goalless draw against Hellas Verona, of which he played 79 minutes.
