Inter wing back Achraf Hakimi has again tested negative for Covid-19 and will join the Inter squad for the league clash against Genoa today, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 21-year-old Moroccan wing back, who joined the Nerazzurri from Real Madrid in the summer, was forced to miss the Champions League opener against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday after testing positive for Covid.

Inter tested Hakimi yesterday which revealed that the results were negative, suggesting a false positive test on Wednesday.

Tests carried out yesterday confirmed this morning that the 21-year-old does not have Covid, and so will now be available to coach Antonio Conte for today’s game.

Hakimi has already joined the rest of the squad and is on his way to Genoa ahead of this afternoon’s fixture.

The player has had a bright start to his Inter career, scoring one goal and providing two assists in his first four appearances.
