Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni will start for the Nerazzurri in their league clash against Genoa today, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 21-year-old Italian defender, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has recovered from Covid-19 and will start against the Rossoblu this evening.

The player played 11 minutes against German side Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League earlier this week and even provided an assist in that time.

Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi is also in the match squad, but will start today’s game on the bench, the report continues.

Antonio Conte’s biggest doubts for the starting 11 are the midfield, with Marcelo Brozovic and Christian Eriksen currently favourites to start over Arturo Vidal and Radja Nainggolan.

Stefan de Vrij may be rested ahead of next week’s Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk, and so Andrea Ranocchia may feature for the first time this season in his place.
