Inter coach Antonio Conte is hoping to have a few more players available to him for Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Milan Skriniar, Roberto Gagliardini and Ionut Radu continue to test positive for Covid-19.

The 25-year-old Slovakian defender’s recent test did not give the expected result and so he’s unlikely to head to Milan before Tuesday, when his three weeks of isolation expire.

Over the next few hours Inter hope to receive good news from both the Italian midfielder and the Romanian shot stopper, the report continues. Gagliardini would be able to return on Thursday, after his isolation period ends.

There are also doubts about Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez and Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi, both of whom did not even sit on the bench in the Nerazzurri’s win over Genoa yesterday
