Inter owner Zhang Jindong met with Cui Shengzhi, president of Samsung Greater China, to discuss a possible partnership between the two companies, according to a report from Chinese media outlet 3g.163.com as reported by Italian media outlet FcInter1908 earlier today.

The report details how the two met to discuss a possible partnership for 2021. Specifically, that Suning will promote Samsung products on their channels and further increase their production of high-quality products, as well as promoting new ones.

The Chinese company are working hard to find new sponsorships and partners for the Nerazzurri, in order to increase the club’s revenue and economic capabilities.

Company president Zhang Jindong discussed the meeting, saying: “Samsung and Suning are all-round strategic partners. Suning not only covers the entire system of Samsung products in the retail sector, but also extends to a wider range of sectors such as sports.

“China is currently in a critical period of building a large cycle. With the accelerated economic recovery, more potential for domestic demand is being stimulated. This is an important opportunity for Suning and Samsung to deepen cooperation and expand the market.”

Cui Shengzhi, the president of Samsung Greater China also commented on the meeting, saying: “The cooperation between Samsung and Suning is a ‘strong alliance’ of good products and good channels. Through joint cooperation, we will be able to open more opportunities and achieve more development.”

Inter are currently looking for a new main shirt sponsor to replace long-time holders Italian tire company Pirelli, with multiple large companies such as Samsung fighting for the spot.
