The 32-year-old Italian defender received a 7.0 rating from Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who noted his strong defensive capabilities and passing.

He also received a 7.0 rating from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who touched on his ability to replace Stefan de Vrij well and how he closed down players well.

Turin based newspaper Tuttosport gave Ranocchia a 7.0 rating as well, commenting on how he managed to quell the Rossoblu’s attack and helped Danilo D’Ambrosio for his goal.

Finally, Ranocchia received a 7.0 rating from Italian media outlet PassioneInter, who commented on how he has proved to coach Antonio Conte that he is reliable and safe backup.

The 32-year-old Italian defender is contracted to Inter until the end of the season.
