Barcelona have an interest in signing Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
In the 15 months since his arrival at the club, Barella has proven himself to be a top player, so much so that Barcelona have enquired about him.
Barella has massively impressed and there has been talk of him receiving a contract renewal with the club for some time and this report claims that his agent Alessandro Beltrami, who also represents Inter teammate Radja Nainggolan, is awaiting a call from Inter regarding a contract renewal.
The 23-year-old is currently under contract with Inter until the end of the 2023/24 season. Since his arrival at the club, the Italian national team player has made 47 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and tallied 10 assists for his teammates.
This term he has played in all six of Inter’s matches and has provided two assists in his time on the park.
