Three regular starters will return to the Inter starting line-up for tomorrow evening’s Champions League group stage match away to Shakhtar Donetsk according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

Stefan de Vrij will be back at the heart of the Inter defence with him to come back into the starting line-up in place of Andrea Ranocchia who played there in place of him in Saturday’s 2-0 Serie A win away to Genoa.

Achraf Hakimi, who started on the bench against Genoa due to only being cleared to play hours before the game, will be back into the team and will play at right wing-back in place of fellow Summer transfer window recruit Matteo Darmian.

The report from the broadcaster goes on to explain that Nicolo Barella will be deployed as the attacking midfielder in Antonio Conte’s 3-4-1-2 system in place of Christian Eriksen. He will play in behind Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
