Inter president Steven Zhang is continuing his hunt to find a new main shirt sponsor for Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Zhang is currently in his native China trying to find a sponsor who will replace long term main shirt sponsors Pirelli, whose deal as main shirt sponsor is due to expire at the end of this season.

Hisense, Evergrande and Samsung are all in the running to become Inter’s next main shirt sponsor and the Nerazzurri club are looking to secure a sponsor prepared to give them a sum of €25-30 million a year.

The report goes on to explain that due to the way that the club’s finances have been impacted due to COVID-19, Champions League revenue has become even more important for Inter. If Inter make it to the next round, they will receive €9.5 million and if they were to win the group, they would get a further €2.7 million.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to add that Inter will close the budget for the last financial year with a deficit of €120-130 million.
