Inter central defender Milan Skriniar will return to Italy tomorrow according to a report from Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica, as cited by Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
The Slovakian national team player has been quarantining in his homeland since earlier on this month after he tested positive for COVID-19.
Upon his return to Milan, the player will be subjected to a swab test for COVID-19 and if the test result is negative, then he may be able to join the squad for this weekend’s match at home to Parma.
The former Sampdoria player, who joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017, has missed Inter’s past three matches across all competitions due to COVID-19 and is currently Inter’s only player who is COVID-19 positive.
This season Skriniar has made two appearances across all competitions to date this term for the Nerazzurri and in his 169 minutes on the park he has made zero goal contributions.
