Inter have joined the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum according to a report from 90min.com.

Wijnaldum’s contract with the reigning Premier League champions is due to expire at the end of this season and whilst Liverpool are keen to tie him down to a new deal, there are another two clubs in addition to Inter who are just as keen to sign him up.

Barcelona are long term admirers of the Dutch national team player and have already told the player’s representatives that they will open talks over a free transfer move next Summer in January.

The report goes on to add that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the former Newcastle United player.

It goes on to add that the player would like to remain at Liverpool but is aware of the money he could make elsewhere and as things stand he and Liverpool are far apart in contract renewal talks.
