Nicolo Barella, Romelu Lukaku and Stefan de Vrij were Inter’s best performing players in yesterday evening’s Champions League group stage match away to Shakhtar Donetsk according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian, Belgian and Dutchman have all been awarded a rating of 6.5/10 for their efforts in the match at the Kyiv Olympic Stadium which somehow ended goalless despite Inter having many goal scoring opportunities and hitting the woodwork on more than one occasion.

Samir Handanovic, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Alessandro Bastoni and Achraf Hakimi all got given 6/10 for their performances whilst Arturo Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic and Ashley Young were all given 5.5.

Ivan Perisic was given a rating of 5/10 whilst the worst performance of the evening came from striker Lautaro Martinez, who was given just 4.5/10.

Substitutes Christian Eriksen, Andrea Pinamonti and Matteo Darmian were meanwhile not given any rating for their performances.
