Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has taken to social media platform Twitter to share three things that he thinks were missing from Inter’s performance in their goalless draw away to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Inter dominated the reigning Ukrainian Premier League champions in both halves at the Kyiv Olympic stadium and had plenty of chances to win the match but they were ultimately unable to capitalise on the chances that they had.

Biasin posted: “Dominated match. Handanovic on vacation. The crossbar. Missed a chance from one metre. A penalty not given. A lot of pressure. And … just one point.

“3 things were missing: 1. The changes. 2. A little more determination. 3. Luck. Not necessarily in that order.”
