Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to share his thoughts and feelings following on from Inter’s goalless draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Inter had no shortage of chances at the Kyiv Olympic Stadium but were ultimately unable to capitalise on the chances and pick up a first Champions League win in this year’s edition.
The Italian, who is naturally a wing-back but has been utilised as a centre back this term, posted: “We took the field only to win! Unfortunately we didn’t succeed and this makes us very sad, but let’s not give up. We will work even harder to achieve our goals.”
