The last time Inter recorded a goalless draw in the Champions League, they went on to win the competition that year according to sports data and analytics company Opta.
Prior to Wednesday evening’s Champions League goalless draw with Shakhtar Donetsk at the Kyiv Olympic Stadium, Inter’s last goalless draw in the competition came in the group stage of the 2009/10 against Barcelona.
Inter won the Champions League that season as part of their historic treble win in which they also won the Serie A title and Coppa Italia.
