Alexis Sanchez should probably be back available to Inter for this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Parma according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Sanchez has missed Inter’s past two matches with Genoa and Shakhtar Donetsk due to a muscle injury that he sustained in the Champions League group stage opener against Borussia Monchengladbach last week.
There is optimism regarding his possible return to action and the report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to stress that his return will be fundamental given the need to let someone in the attack rest given Inter’s busy schedule up until the next international break in mid-November.
The Chilean national team player is into his second season with Inter and has made five appearances across all competitions to date this term. During his time on the park he has provided his teammates with two assists.
