It will take a miracle for Inter striker Romelu Lukaku to be recovered and available for Inter’s Champions League match versus Real Madrid next week according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Inter confirmed yesterday that the Belgian national team forward had sustained a muscle strain in one of his thighs and will miss tomorrow’s Serie A match at home to Parma, which could lead to Inter manager Antonio Conte handing Andrea Pinamonti a start alongside Lautaro Martinez in the attack.

Inter are then due to face Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday night and the report insists that a miracle will be needed for the 27-year-old to recover and be available for this match against Los Blancos.

This season Lukaku, who is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2023/24 season, has made seven appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals.
