Roberto Gagliardini will make a return to action following his recovery from COVID-19 in tomorrow’s Serie A match at home to Parma according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian central midfielder has missed Inter’s past few matches due to having COVID-19 and should start at San Siro although the report does claim that it is possible that Radja Nainggolan, who has not played since his recovery from COVID-19, could play instead of him.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter boss Antonio Conte must decide whether to play Andrea Pinamonti or Christian Eriksen and Pinamonti is currently leading the race.
Matteo Darmian will meanwhile come back into the starting line-up at left wing-back.
Probable Inter starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Matteo Darmian, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Achraf Hakimi, Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic; Nicolo Barella; Lautaro Martinez, Andrea Pinamonti.
